The Soufflet Group, an important player in the food industry and the biggest private buyer of cereals in Europe, has successfully completed its first Schuldschein private placement, raising €100 million from about twenty international banks through its subsidiary Soufflet Finances. This financing is structured into five tranches with maturities of 5 to 7 years.
It follows several private placements in the form of Euro PP which have enabled the Soufflet Group to raise €400 million since 2012.
On this transaction, CMS acted as legal advisor to Soufflet Finances and Etablissements J. Soufflet.
