His work covers the entire project life cycle and includes structuring and development, discussions with public authorities, financing and project management during the operational phase. He also advises on privatisation and asset acquisition transactions.
With over 14 years of experience as a lawyer, Foucaud has worked with a wide range of clients throughout his career, including global companies, developers, investment funds, financial institutions and governments.
Foucaud Jaulin worked for nearly nine years at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, in the Energy & Infrastructure practice group, where he became a partner in 2021. Previously, he worked for five years at Gide Loyrette Nouel, first in the Moscow office and then in Paris as part of the Projects (Finance & Infrastructure) team.
His expertise and the quality of his practice have earned him recognition in the latest Chambers France rankings as an 'Up-and-Coming Partner', as well as a 'Next Generation Partner: Energy Projects' in the Legal 500 EMEA 2024 in the Energy category. He was also included in the Jeune Afrique's Top 100 Legal Powerlist of the 100 most influential lawyers in French-speaking Africa.
