Grupo RLD, Miguérès Moulin and CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre are advising the French and Spanish bedding leader, the Pikolin group, in its strategic alliance with Steinhoff International, Europe's second largest furniture distributor.
Steinhoff International is to acquire 50% of Cofel, the Pikolin group's French subsidiary.
The deal will consolidate Pikolin's international presence and give it an entry into new markets. Steinhoff International will be gaining access to the Pikolin group's experience and recognised know-how in the bedding sector and will be able to offer a wider range of products in Europe.
