ORPEA acquires the Villa Garlande and Le Clos des Meuniers long-term elderly care facilities: CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advised YMB SARL

CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advised YMB SARL on the sale to ORPEA of a controlling stake in the companies, Maison de Retraite Villa Garlande and Le Clos des Meuniers (long-term elderly care facilities), as well as in Yobema real estate investment trust, which holds the real estate for these care home facilities.

Founded in 1989, ORPEA is listed on the NYSE Euronext Paris and is a benchmark European player in the provision of long-term dependency care through a network of specialist facilities, comprising long-term elderly care facilities, post-acute and rehabilitation clinics and psychiatric care clinics.

For this transaction, YMB SARL was advised by CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre with Arnaud Hugot and Laure Varachas on the tax and legal aspects, and Charles de Crevoisier on the tax aspects.

YMB SARL also received financial advice from Finaudec with José Amar.

The ORPEA Group was advised on the corporate aspects of the deal by Antoine Fornet, Thomas Ganidel and Thiphaine Weyant from Avocats JurisConseil.
