CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre acted as advisor to Générale de Santé for the transfer of the Clinique Chirurgicale du Golfe de Saint-Tropez located in Gassin to the Sainte Marguerite group.
CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advised Générale de Santé for the transfer by its subsidiary, Compagnie Générale de Santé, of control of the Clinique Chirurgicale du Golfe de Saint-Tropez located in Gassin, operating the Clinique Chirurgicale du Golfe where medicine is practised and surgery performed, to the Sainte-Marguerite group.
The Sainte-Marguerite group, which also acquired the Hôpital Privé Beauregard from Compagnie Générale de Santé, already owns five hospitals in the PACA region.
With turnover of over 2 billion euros, Générale de Santé, whose shares are listed on the NYSE Euronext Paris, is the leading private hospital group in France. It owns 105 clinics and private hospitals, which care for 1.3 million patients per year (including 400,000 in emergency wards).
For this transaction, Générale de Santé was advised by CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre with Arnaud Hugot and Laure Varachas on the corporate aspects, and Jean-Charles Benois and Philippe Gosset on the tax aspects.
The Sainte-Marguerite group was advised by the Fidal firm with Gerald de Micco on the corporate aspects and Cécile Blanc-Galas on the tax aspects.
