Chloé joined the Litigation and Arbitration department of CMS Francis Lefebvre in 2021. 

Previously, she worked at ALERION as an associate in litigation and arbitration. She acts in all types of litigation proceedings, in terms of: 

  • business law: commercial and contractual litigation (enforcement, termination, breach of the contract); abrupt termination of business relationships; unfair competition; debt recovery; liability claim; conservatory measures; insurance law; 
  • company law: disputes relating to acquisitions; challenging of the liability of managers; dismissal of director; breach of shareholders’ agreement;
  • arbitration: national and international; ad hoc and institutional arbitrations; 
  • white collar crime and general criminal law for physical and legal persons: offenses relating to attempted fraud, discrimination, company law; bleaching; tax criminal law; criminal liability of directors. 

Chloé Adelbrecht-Vignes has a PhD in private law (“International water trade – Legal aspects of access to water”), graduated from the University of Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne, and teaches at the Sorbonne Paris Nord University.

Relevant experience

  • Lecturer in the Master 2 in economic and European law directed by Professor Bernard Haftel, Sorbonne Paris Nord University (since 2019).
  • Associate in litigation and arbitration, ALERION (2019-2021).
  • Internships in French law firms in litigation and arbitration and in a specialize law firm for litigation at the Conseil d'Etat and the Cour de Cassation
  • Lecturer at the Sorbonne Law School and at the Sorbonne Management School (2010-2016).

  • Member of LEX, association of students and former students of the Master 2 and DEA of Private International Law and International Trade of the Sorbonne Law School.
  • Hauts-de-Seine Bar.
