Henri Bitar joined CMS Francis Lefebvre in 1998 after having worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
He specialises in VAT planning and consultancy, intra-EU trade, exports, bank and finance, real estate, and other special VAT regimes. He also specialises in Payroll tax (“Taxe sur les salaires”).

Henri is member of the International VAT Club and of the International Fiscal Association (IFA). He has coordinated the VAT seminar on Cross-border business restructuring during the IFA congress.

He is a lecturer in International VAT at the Universities of Paris II (Assas), Montpellier and Rennes. He is co-author of "Gestion de la TVA, la TVA expliquée par les praticiens" (Dossiers pratiques, Editions Francis Lefebvre, and regularly participates to business publications).

He holds a postgraduate degree in corporate law from the University of Montpellier (1994).

He is fluent in English and Spanish.
