Nicolas Tollet joined the CMS Francis Lefebvre in 2025.  

He assists his clients with internal investigations, regulatory inspections such as AFA controls , monitoring, due diligence, and compliance audits around the world (Ukraine, Romania, Italy, Venezuela, Brazil, Mexico, Jordan, South Korea, Bangladesh, Southeast Asia, etc.), in the areas of anti-corruption, duty of care & Human rights, economic sanctions, export control and anti-money laundering. A certified CSRD auditor, he also advises companies in the drafting of their sustainability report. 

Nicolas Tollet has 20 years of experience in the legal and compliance field, from the very first landmark investigations relating to the US FCPA involving French companies in the 2000s, to more recent cases involving French and foreign authorities.  

He previously worked for nine years at Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP where he was a partner, and before that, five years at Technip where he worked as Vice President Compliance, based between France and Brazil, in the context of the very first monitoring of a French company, then in the context of the Car Wash case.   

Nicolas Tollet, then at Technip, received the Gold Trophy for the best compliance program in 2016, and was the only Frenchman selected among the 38 global specialists in internal investigations by the Global Investigation Review (GIR-InHouse) in 2017. He is also ranked Tier 1 and Leading Individual in the Legal 500, as well as by Chambers Partners and Best Lawers. 

In 2024, he is nominated among the Top 40 Legal Voices by Lamy.
