EBA: Guidelines on internal governance
EBA has published a draft of its revised guidelines (originally published on 27 September 2011) on internal governance aimed at harmonising institutions' internal governance arrangements, processes and mechanisms across the EU, in line with w requirements in this area introduced in CRD. It is noted that the revised guidelines put more emphasis on the duties and responsibilities of the management body in its supervisory function in risk oversight, including the role of their committees Responses are required by 28 January 2017.

The following has been published in the Official Journal: Directive (EU) 2026/470 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 February 2026 amending Directives 2006/43/EC, 2013/34/EU, (EU) 2022/2464 and (EU) 2024/1760 as regards certain corporate sustainability reporting requirements and certain corporate sustainability due diligence requirements.
