EIOPA: Prospects for the XBRL tool for undertakings

EIOPA has announced that it intends to investigate the possibility of updating the tool for undertakings related to XBRL reporting under Solvency II. This would be based on the next version of the XBRL taxonomy, due to be published in July 2016. EIOPA is to hold a “meet the market” event at its Frankfurt offices on this.
