Giulio Poggioli joined the firm’s Banking & Finance department in 2017 in the Rome office. Giulio is specialized in financial markets law and has solid experience in capital markets regulation, asset management and investment services.

Giulio primary assists domestic and international management companies in the UCITS (mutual funds and SICAVs) and FIA (alternative investment funds) notification/authorization process with the competent supervisory authorities and in the drafting and negotiation of relative agreements with intermediaries involved in the offering. Giulio also boasts significant experience in the listing of ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) and "Open Units other than ETFs" in the ETFplus market managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A.

The experience Giulio has matured in the financial markets sector also extends to providing advice in the drafting and negotiating contractual arrangements for investment services, such as portfolio management contracts (including conventions for the management of pension funds) and investment advice.

Giulio also provides legal consulting with regards to the constitution of corporate vehicles (such as brokerage companies) and the establishment of subsidiaries, office branches and representative offices in Italy.
