21 February 2024 CMS-among the top ten law firms internationally-assisted the British investment fund Baillie Gifford and the American investment fund Durable Capital Partners in the legal aspects related to the €155 million investment round of Bending Spoons, a global leader in the development and commercialization of mobile applications.
CMS provided assistance to the funds with a team composed of Partner Massimo Trentino, Associate Valerio Giuseppe Daniele and Junior Associates Arianna Toccaceli and Francesca Beatrice Durante, as well as Counsel Giulio Poggioli for regulatory aspects.
This transaction follows the EUR 100 million round closed in August 2023 in which CMS also assisted Baillie Gifford.
CMS had previously assisted TIM (Telecom Italia) and Tim Ventures, lead investors in the 100 million investment round of Satispay as well as in the subsequent round.
