Rome, 25 October 2024 - International law firm CMS has assisted Green Utility S.p.A., an Italian leading company in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency, on the signing of a binding agreement for the sale of the majority of the share capital to InfraVia Capital Partners, Europe's leading Private Equity investor in the infrastructure sector. The transaction will be completed by the end of the year.
Founded in 2007, Green Utility aims to bring electricity production closer to consumption through solutions that enable C&I customers to optimise their electricity supply with dedicated self-consumption plants in addition to existing grid connections.
CMS provided assistance with a team composed of Partner Massimo Trentino, Associate Valerio Giuseppe Daniele and Junior Associates Arianna Toccaceli, Francesca Beatrice Durante and Francesco Montagnese, as well as Counsel Giulio Poggioli for regulatory aspects.
InfraVia Capital Partners was assisted by Gianni & Origoni in the legal aspects of the transaction.
