Employment Law | Associate
To support the continued growth of our Employment Law practice, we are looking for a talented Associate to join our team in Luxembourg.
You will become part of a highly regarded and expanding Employment Law & Dispute Resolution team led by two Partners and composed of approximately 10 lawyers and professionals, working on sophisticated and complex matters in a collaborative, international, and highly dynamic environment.
Your responsibilities
- Assist the Employment team in advising clients on a broad range of labour law aspects, business immigration and social security matters, including individual and collective issues, cross-border mobility, termination of employment, and workplace policies.
- Support the preparation of case files for both advisory and litigation work, ensuring accuracy and smooth coordination under the supervision of senior lawyers.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, helping maintain resources and updates on legal developments.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, while managing assigned tasks proactively under guidance.
- Collaborate closely with the team members, gaining hands-on exposure to a wide variety of employment law matters and participating actively in ongoing projects.
- Participate in meetings, conference calls, professional events, and helping strengthen the firm’s visibility.
Your profile
- You hold a Master’s degree in Law.
- You are admitted to the Luxembourg Bar on List II, possibly on List IV.
- You have a strong interest in employment law and ideally some initial experience (through internships or up to three years of professional experience) in Luxembourg labour law, preferably gained within a law firm or an in-house legal department.
- You are eager to develop both advisory and litigation skills and enjoy working on diverse cases.
- You possess excellent analytical, drafting, and summarising skills, together with strong interpersonal abilities, and are keen to progress within a dynamic and ambitious team.
- You are a proactive, pragmatic, and team-oriented professional with a strong sense of responsibility.
- You are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. German and Luxembourgish are considered real assets.
