CMS closed a deal last week for the purchase of St. Ermin’s Hotel for £185 million through the acquisition of all shares in the capital of St. Ermin's Holdings B.V. CMS acted for Sunrider Corporation, which bought the four-star hotel located in Westminster, their first in Europe, from Angelo, Gordon & Co. The hotel is famous for its history as the base of the Special Operations Executive and MI6 in the Second World War, and will continue as a franchise of the Autograph Collection by Marriott.
The Dutch CMS team comprised Roman Tarlavski, Abbas Ali Hyder, Julie van der Touw, Pauline Toet and Herman Boersen in Amsterdam. The UK team comprised Tom Page, Charlotte Waldron, Matthew Willoughby, Colin Jesson, Tom Cloke, Jenny Stoddart, Alvino van Schalkwyk and Stephanie Flynn in London.
