Competition and cartel investigations

Companies should be alive to the possibility of investigations and fines for anti-competitive behaviour.  We defend our clients in cartel and other regulatory investigations by authorities. Our Norwegian team represents clients in investigations by the Norwegian Competition Authority, the EFTA Surveillance Authority and the European Commission. We defend clients’ interests in subsequent  or stand-alone court proceedings. We stand ready to respond to investigations and dawn raids with a strong defence or through other appropriate means, including leniency applications.

We work with our own in-house CMS Evidence team of forensic experts using the market-leading software, Brainspace. This expertise, combined with our bench strength of experienced CMS competition lawyers across most European countries, South America, Far and Middle East and Africa allows us to manage large-scale document reviews efficiently and effectively.

Our practice also covers leniency applications and we have in-depth knowledge of the leniency procedure before the Norwegian Competition Authority.
