CMS Grau advises BBVA Perú on S/ 57 million financing for ENSA

CMS Grau has advised BBVA Perú on the provision of S/ 57 million in financing to Empresa Regional de Servicio Público de Electricidad del Norte S.A. (ENSA), a member of the Distriluz Group, to reprofile its debt and optimise its financing structure.
The transaction was structured as financing exclusively intended to refinance existing short-term financial obligations, enabling ENSA to reprofile its debt maturities and strengthen its financial structure.
The financing enables ENSA to optimise its debt profile and reinforce its financial position. The transaction also highlights the role of banks in developing financing solutions for strategic companies in Peru’s electricity sector.
