Kiomi Osorio is a partner in the Corporate and M&A practice at CMS Grau. She has over 18 years of experience advising local and international clients on complex corporate and financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, asset deals, corporate reorganisations, structured financings, project finance and capital markets transactions.
Her practice focuses on the structuring and execution of sophisticated transactions, many of them involving multiple jurisdictions, including securities offerings in local and international markets (Rule 144A and Regulation S in the United States), as well as advising financial institutions on regulatory matters and incorporation processes.
Prior to joining CMS Grau, Kiomi was a partner and held senior positions at leading law firms and in the financial sector, including her role as Legal Vice President at Credicorp Capital. She also worked as an international associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York, where she developed a strong global perspective on complex transactions.
Kiomi holds a law degree (with honours) from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and an LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, as well as a Wharton Business and Law Certificate. She has also completed studies in financial accounting at Universidad ESAN.
She is a lecturer in the course “Commercial Law Institutions” at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and has served as a teaching assistant in courses on M&A, banking law, insurance law and capital markets at various universities. She is also the author and co-author of several publications on corporate and financial law.
