Alexandra Nicolás is an associate in the Corporate/M&A and Banking & Finance practice. She has experience advising domestic and international companies on corporate and financing transactions, including financings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganisations and contractual matters. Her practice focuses on the structuring and execution of corporate transactions, as well as providing comprehensive corporate advice to companies across a range of industries.
She has been involved in financing transactions for companies in the mining, agricultural, commercial and services sectors, as well as M&A transactions and corporate reorganisation processes. Her experience includes the drafting and review of credit agreements, security documents, transaction documentation and corporate documents related to the implementation and closing of transactions.
Prior to joining CMS Grau, Alexandra was part of the legal team at Anglo American Quellaveco, where she advised on corporate and contractual matters related to the mining sector, including capital increases and reductions, liquidation and dissolution processes, the monitoring of mining concessions and regulatory compliance. She also gained experience at a local law firm advising on corporate and financing transactions.
Alexandra holds a law degree from Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, where she graduated in the top third of her class.
