Cinthia is a corporate lawyer who specialises in financing transactions, securities markets and general corporate matters. She has more than 15 years of solid professional experience advising on the drafting, negotiation and closing of contracts in the context of financing transactions, as well as in the design, structuring and implementation of complex corporate transactions, including M&A operations and corporate reorganizations for local and foreign companies in the financial, energy, fishing, telecommunications, retail and real estate sectors. 

Among the most important companies that Cinthia has advised are Banco de Crédito, Scotiabank Perú, Banco Pichincha, Coöperative Rabobank U.A., BD Capital, Sigma SAFI, Core Capital SAFI, Pesquera Hayduk, Capital Center, among others.

She has completed postgraduate studies at Universidad del Pacífico and Universidad ESAN in Financial and Corporate Law, respectively. Cinthia graduated with honours from Law School at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.

Before joining CMS Grau, Cinthia was a senior manager in the corporate team of EY Law. She has also been a senior associate in the corporate area of important law firms.

  • Advise to Banco Santander Peru in the financing granted to an investment fund for the acquisition of a stake in an important logistics company with presence in Peru, Panama, Colombia and El Salvador.
  • Advise to a leading company in the telecommunications sector in the drafting and negotiation of various contracts required for the implementation and start-up of a fibre optic business.
  • Advise to Banco Pichincha in the structuring and drafting of business collaboration agreements with companies in the retail sector.
  • Advise to Graña y Montero Petrolera S.A. and Oiltanking Perú S.A.C. in the financing of USD 46MM granted by Banco de Crédito to fund investments regarding the operation of hydrocarbon supply terminals located in northern and central Peru.
  • Advise to Pesquera Hayduk S.A. in obtaining two syndicated loans for USD 90MM granted by Banco de Crédito, Banco Internacional del Perú, DNB Bank ASA and Coöperative Rabobank U.A.
  • Advise to Scotiabank Perú, Banco de Crédito and a local investment fund in the USD 56MM financing granted to an SPV for the acquisition of 88% of the shares of Stracon GyM.
  • Advise to Bow Power S.L. in the USD 51MM financing obtained for the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Peruana de Inversiones en Energías Renovables S.A., concessionaire of the Manta hydroelectric power plant.
  • Advise to Empresa de Generación Eléctrica Santa Ana S.R.L. in the USD 45MM financing granted by Banco de Crédito for the construction and commissioning of the Renovandes - H1 hydroelectric power plant.
  • Advise to Cascade Hydro Power S.A.C. in the sale of 100% of the shares of Empresa de Generación Eléctrica Canchayllo S.A.C. to Energías Renovables de los Andes S.A.C. and Union Group Energy Corp. 
  • Advise to APC Corporación S.A. in the financing and repurchase of shares previously transferred to Fondo Mezzanine SUMMA.
  • Advise to Scotiabank Perú in the financing of USD 46MM granted to Falabella S.A.A. for corporate purposes.
