Giancarlo Galliani is an associate in the Real Estate and Construction practice at CMS Grau. His practice focuses on advising, managing and supervising projects with a significant land and contractual component, integrating legal and operational perspectives to enable works and transactions with legal certainty, effective risk control and compliance with key milestones.
He has experience in the administration and contract management of services and construction contracts, including NEC contracts, from the drafting and negotiation of terms through to the monitoring of deliverables, guarantees, insurance, penalties, and the management of changes in time and cost. He is also involved in the negotiation and structuring of easements and other surface rights, the legal due diligence, regularisation and title clean-up of real estate assets, as well as the coordination of permits, authorisations and licences before administrative and municipal authorities, in addition to registry and notarial matters, adopting a practical approach aimed at resolving contingencies and ensuring project continuity.
From an academic perspective, Giancarlo is a qualified lawyer from the Universidad Inca Garcilaso de la Vega and a graduate of the Master’s programme in Conflict Resolution at the Universidad San Martín de Porres. He complements his practice with specialised training in key areas supporting real estate and construction projects, such as land and property registry law and contracting under NEC (New Engineering Contract) standards, as well as studies in public management, public procurement and municipal law, among others, which reinforces his technical approach to complex transactions.
