Juan Andrés Carrera is an associate in the Corporate/M&A and Banking & Finance practice groups at CMS Grau. His practice focuses on advising companies, financial institutions and investors on the structuring, negotiation and execution of complex corporate and financial transactions, both domestically and internationally.
He has experience in structured finance transactions, including Club Deals, Project Finance and capital markets securitisations, as well as M&A transactions involving the acquisition and sale of companies, projects and assets, corporate reorganisations and other strategic transactions.
He also provides comprehensive advice on civil, corporate and contractual matters, supporting clients in business structuring, contract negotiations and the development of commercial operations. In addition, he advises regulated entities within the financial, insurance and capital markets sectors, assisting them with compliance with the applicable regulatory framework and a broad range of regulatory matters.
He is a qualified lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, where he graduated in the top ten per cent of his class.
