International law firm CMS has advised mBank S.A. on granting the facilities to subsidiaries of ONDE S.A. (“ONDE”), worth approx. PLN 65m, for the construction of two photovoltaic (PV) farms with a total capacity of approx. 19 MWp.

ONDE is a leader in the renewable energy industry in Poland and a leading contractor of infrastructure for renewable energy sources, in particular wind farms and photovoltaic farms.
ONDE's strategic goal is to maintain and systematically develop its renewable energy sources (RES) contracting segment, while rapidly developing the development of RES installations under the develop-build-sell formula. Currently, ONDE's investment pipeline has a potential of about 870 MW, of which about 300 MW have already had connection conditions issued.

The CMS team was led by counsel Martyna Markiewicz from the Banking and Finance practice, while due diligence work was headed by counsel Maciej Ziółkowski from the Energy and Infrastructure practice. The project was supervised by Michał Mężykowski, partner leading the CMS Poland’s Banking and Finance practice and Łukasz Szatkowski, partner in the Energy and Infrastructure practice.

The CMS team also composed of: Sebastian Łyś, Anis Benamer, Bartłomiej Głąbiński, Marcin Krzemień and Kamil Gilewicz.
