International law firm CMS has advised Neuca S.A., a listed company operating on the pharmaceutical wholesale market in Poland, on the acquisition of a majority stake in Pomerania Investment S.A., the sole shareholder of Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń Zdrowie S.A. – a Polish insurance company specialising in health insurance. The investment in Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń Zdrowie S.A. is part of the implementation of Neuca S.A.’s long-term growth strategy in the patient area.
The CMS team advising on the transaction was co-ordinated by CMS partner Mateusz Stępień. Mateusz advised on transactional and corporate matters with the support of Antoni Wandzilak (senior associate) and Natalia Szurnicka (lawyer).
