CMS advises UNIMOT Group on acquisition of 34.2 MW wind farm project
CMS has advised UNIMOT Group on the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Wind T11 sp. z o.o., a special purpose vehicle that is developing a wind farm project with a planned installed capacity of 34.2 MW. The share purchase agreement was signed on 25 June 2026 by Unimot Renewables sp. z o.o., a subsidiary of UNIMOT S.A.
The wind farm will comprise nine Vestas V126 turbines, each with a rating of 3.8 MW, with completion planned for H1 2028.
This transaction represents a strategically significant milestone for UNIMOT Group, marking its first foray into the Independent Power Producer (IPP) model. The IPP business combines Unimot Renewables’ investment and ownership competencies with Unimot Energia i Gaz’s capabilities in energy contracting, electricity sales, commercial balancing and energy portfolio management.

CMS advised on all aspects of the transaction, including the negotiation of the share purchase agreement and project agreements relating to turbine supply, operation and maintenance and balance of plant services. CMS also provided legal support during signing and closing.
