CMS Poland strengthens Financial Regulatory Services team in Banking & Finance practice
CMS is pleased to announce the continued expansion of its Banking & Finance practice with the appointment of Łukasz Szymański as Head of Financial Services Regulatory at CMS Poland. Led by Partner Michał Mężykowski, the Banking & Finance team at CMS Poland comprises over 50 experienced lawyers, reinforcing its position as a leading legal advisor to the financial sector.
With almost 20 years of professional experience, Łukasz brings extensive expertise in banking and insurance law, insurance distribution law, AML & sanctions, payment services, leasing & factoring regulations, consumer credit, financial market consumer protection and processes digitisation. His deep understanding of the financial regulatory landscape will further enhance CMS’s ability to provide top-tier legal services to financial institutions and FinTech firms.
Before joining CMS, Łukasz worked at international law firms and for the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.
