Adam Jodkowski is an advocate and counsel in the Dispute Resolution practice at CMS.
He specialises in civil and commercial disputes, including litigation concerning intellectual property and unfair competition, insurance claims, and construction disputes.
He has extensive experience representing clients from the financial sector in competition and consumer protection proceedings, in particular in appeals against decisions of the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) and in class actions, including cases relating to CHF-indexed foreign currency loans. He has advised, among others, banks and insurance institutions in large-scale disputes of significant market and regulatory importance.
His practice also includes advising insurance companies on disputes arising from various insurance products, including D&O policies, product liability insurance and professional liability insurance.
He represents clients in intellectual property and advertising disputes, including matters concerning unfair advertising, trademark and patent infringements, unfair imitation and misleading product labelling.
Adam also has broad experience in construction and infrastructure disputes, including those conducted under FIDIC conditions, covering road and railway projects as well as wind farms, as well as disputes related to public procurement, including proceedings before the National Appeal Chamber (KIO).
He represents clients before domestic courts, as well as in international and domestic arbitration and mediation proceedings. He has participated in arbitration proceedings before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris and the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw.
