Michał Andruszkiewicz, a Polish-qualified advocate, is a partner in the Energy and Infrastructure Practice at CMS Poland and heads the CMS Poznan office. With 12 years of experience, Michał specialises in advising clients in the energy and chemicals sectors on a variety of legal issues.

His expertise includes the development of large-scale industrial projects, new power units (gas-steam and coal-fired), and renewable energy investments. Michał is adept at preparing and negotiating EPC contracts, long-term gas supply and power purchase agreements, grid connection agreements, FEED contracts, PMC agreements, technology license agreements, and various construction and equipment delivery contracts, particularly in multi-contracting projects. He also handles operation and maintenance agreements.

Michał has led legal teams in numerous M&A transactions within the Polish renewable energy sector. He advises on regulatory issues related to energy and gas markets, has contributed to amendments to the grid code (IRIESP), and provided counsel on cross-border electricity exchange.
