CMS Portugal advised Sonepar, a family-owned French group and global leader in the B2B distribution of electrical equipment, on the acquisition of 100% of the LCI Group, a distributor of electrical equipment with a nationwide presence in Portugal through the three companies Tanqueluz, Futurluz and Vedrel, which have 17 delegations and approximately 200 employees.
To advise Sonepar, CMS had a multidisciplinary team led by Corporate M&A Partner Margarida Vila Franca, which also included Senior Associate Miguel Santos Ferreira and Associates Francisco Verdelho and Inês Jones. Also involved were, in Employment Law, Managing Associate Sofia Costa Lobo and Associate Leonor Barata da Cunha, Energy Associate Rodrigo Pinto Guimarães, and Property Associate Duarte de Castro Rodrigues. Also taking part on behalf of TMC was the Senior Associate, Ricardo Pintão.
