Maria Joana Faria is an Associate at the Antitrust, Competition and Trade team and is part of the ESG Task Force.
Her practice is mainly focused on antitrust procedures, particularly regarding cases in sectors such as distribution and retail, sports and technology. She also has experience in a variety of other matters, including cartels, vertical restraints, abuse of dominant position, merger control, State aid, unfair trading practices and verification and maintenance of competition law compliance programmes.
She joined CMS Portugal in 2022.
