Rui Pinto Trindade is a Senior Associate in the TMC - Technology, Media & Communications, Intellectual Property and Life Sciences & Healthcare teams.
Rui has experience advising companies in the insurance sector across all lines of business, with a focus on litigation, including civil, criminal, labour and administrative matters. He advises clients on the initiation and management of declaratory and enforcement proceedings, as well as appeals, statements of defence and appeal submissions.
He has extensive experience in managing litigation cases from strategy to court representation, acting nationwide, including disputes arising from contractual breaches, particularly in the private security sector. Rui also has experience in arbitration proceedings before CIMPAS, where he handled submissions and represented clients.
In addition, he advises on contractual and corporate matters, including contract drafting and corporate documentation, and provides ongoing legal support to companies in sectors such as automotive and rent-a-car.
His practice also covers disciplinary proceedings, regulatory compliance, settlement agreements and HR-related matters.
