Lethabo is an Associate in the Employment team at CMS South Africa.

Lethabo is involved in a wide range of employment law matters and his experience ranges across a variety of industries such as mining, financial services, telecommunications, health care, public sector and aviation.

His experience includes advising on all aspects of employment law, including, disciplinary processes, executive exits, unfair labour practices, employment equity and discrimination. His experience also includes acting as an initiator or evidence leader in internal disciplinary proceedings. Lethabo has gained experience in representing employers at various dispute resolution forums, including CCMA, bargaining councils, Labour Court and Labour Appeal Court. His work also includes drafting of pleadings, opinions, pre-trial documentation, and other court documents.

In addition to his litigation and advisory work, Lethabo has completed accredited training in Conciliation, Mediation and Labour Arbitration through the University of the Witwatersrand in collaboration with the CCMA, equipping him with practical skills in dispute resolution. Lethabo brings a strategic and solution-oriented approach to employment law, with a strong focus on efficient, compliant, and fair workplace outcomes.
