Eleport has supplied another European capital, Zagreb, Croatia, with charging stations for electric vehicles. Plans are underway to further expand its presence in the region with charging stations in Zadar and on the island of Krk. With the opening of three locations featuring a total of 22 charging points, including 18 ultra-fast DC charging stations, Eleport is making a significant contribution to sustainable e-mobility in SEE.
CMS assisted Eleport in drafting, negotiating, and implementing long-term lease agreements for the installation and operation of accessible, future-oriented charging infrastructure for electric vehicles at major retail and commercial sites. In addition to lease law issues, CMS advises Eleport on all legal matters relevant to its expansion, including corporate law and regulatory matters. The tasks also involve close coordination with local stakeholders to ensure a consistent and efficient implementation of Eleport's network expansion across all target markets.
"We are pleased to support Eleport – a company that is driving the European energy transition in both theory and practice – in its expansion. The opening of the first locations in Croatia and Slovenia is a significant milestone for entering the region and a great achievement for Eleport and the entire e-mobility community" commented Georg Gutfleisch. "The seamless collaboration with our CMS colleagues in Croatia and Slovenia once again demonstrates the strength and efficiency of our international network."
“Expanding into Croatia and Slovenia marks a key milestone in Eleport’s mission to build a high-speed electric mobility network across Central and Southeastern Europe,” said Jakub Miler, CEO of Eleport. “We are proud to bring our ultra-fast charging solutions to new markets, supporting both local communities and travelers with sustainable, future-ready infrastructure. This achievement reflects the shared vision we hold with our regional partners.”
