CMS Attorney Sixtus-Ferdinand Kraus appointed professor at the Johannes Kepler University Linz

Sixtus-Ferdinand Kraus, a successful member of the teams Corporate Transactions and Corporate Litigation at CMS Vienna, can celebrate another milestone in his academic career. At the beginning of October, he was appointed professor of civil law at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. 

Univ.-Prof. Dr. Sixtus-Ferdinand Kraus (36) has always been equally committed to both scholarship and practice. He has qualified as a professor in the fields of business law, corporate law and civil law and is known to the practice as an expert in corporate law, business law and business-related civil law. Sixtus-Ferdinand Kraus has been working as a lawyer at CMS in Vienna since January 2019 and has also taught at the Institute for Business and Commercial Law at the University of Vienna.

With his appointment to the Faculty of Law at the Johannes Kepler University, Sixtus-Ferdinand Kraus is once again devoting himself more to scholarship. However, he will continue to work as a lawyer in the role Of Counsel for CMS. As before, one of his main areas of expertise will be litigation in corporate law.

Sixtus-Ferdinand Kraus is the fourth CMS lawyer currently serving as a professor at an Austrian university. "We see ourselves as a law firm with an academic foundation.
