Commercial Expert Christian Stögerer Is Attorney-at-Law at CMS

Effective immediately, Christian Stögerer is an attorney-at-law in the IP, TMT and commercial practice area team of the international law firm CMS in Vienna. He is specialised in commercial law with a focus on product liability law.

Christian Stögerer (32) joined CMS as an associate in 2012 and has been a member of the IP, TMT and commercial team ever since. He was born in Vienna and raised in the picturesque Wachau region in Lower Austria. In his work, he specialises in the broad commercial field, particularly focusing on product liability law. He also deals with issues related to internet and distribution law as well as general terms and conditions. The newly registered attorney-at-law will continue to advise companies active in lifesciences, the health sector, agriculture and IT. He also works with banks and represents his clients before courts and arbitral tribunals.

Christian Stögerer studied law at the University of Vienna and obtained an LL.M. degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2010. During his studies in the US, he focused on the fields of entertainment and media law. He completed the doctorate programme at the University of Vienna’s Faculty of Law in 2013.
