Corporate Law Expert Lena Winkler Is Attorney-at-Law at CMS

Effective immediately, Lena Winkler is an attorney-at-law in the corporate/M&A team of the international law firm CMS in Vienna. She is specialised in corporate law, M&A and takeover law.

Lena Winkler (31) joined CMS as an associate in August 2016, transferring from another international law firm in Vienna where she had worked for several years. She had already been a member of the CMS team in 2009, when she completed an internship. Since February 2017, she has been an attorney-at-law in the corporate/M&A team of CMS.

Lena Winkler was born in Vienna and studied at the University of Vienna, completing both legal studies and a bachelor programme in sports with a focus on sports management. When asked about this unusual combination of academic fields, the sports enthusiast and legal expert says that she was looking for a healthy balance and change of perspective, which she found in studying sports.

She also gained new perspectives in the course of time spent abroad in Australia, Geneva and most recently in Tripoli, where she completed an internship in the legal department of OMV. Now she uses her great commitment and perseverance to support CMS clients in the fields of corporate law, M&A and takeover law.
