Labour Law Expert Stefan Zischka Is an Attorney-at-Law at CMS

Effective immediately, Stefan Zischka is an attorney-at-law in the labour law team of the international law firm CMS in Vienna. He is specialised in advising clients from the banking and start-up sectors on issues related to labour law.

Stefan Zischka (31) interned at CMS in Vienna already in 2011, after which he joined the law firm as an associate. Since September of this year, he has been an attorney-at-law in the largest labour law team in Austria. Stefan Zischka was born in Graz, Styria. In his work, he focuses on labour law issues arising in the banking sector. He gained valuable insights into this industry during a nine-month client secondment in the legal department of a renowned Austrian bank. A further focus in his work is on advising start-up companies on labour law matters.

Stefan Zischka pursued a labour law focus already during his diploma and doctoral studies of law at the University of Graz. In his doctoral thesis, he looked into “Flexible arrangements in the area of remuneration”. He gained valuable experience and insights abroad in the course of an internship at the EU Office of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in Brussels and an exchange semester at Haagse Hogeschool in the Netherlands.
