Helena Palle has been an associate specializing in Employment Law since October 2025. Since September 2024, she has also held a position as an external lecturer in the University of Vienna’s postgraduate program Labour Law (LL.M.).

From 2020 to 2024, she was employed as a university assistant at the Institute for Labour and Social Law at the University of Vienna under the supervision of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Brameshuber. She completed her doctoral studies with distinction, writing her dissertation on “The Insolvency Exception in the event of Transfers of Undertakings.” Her academic work was recognised with the Hans-Schmitz Society Dissertation Award and the Dissertation Prize of the Ars Iuris Vienna Doctoral School.

In autumn of 2023, Helena Palle also worked as a research associate in the Evidenzbüro (Scientific Service) of the Austrian Supreme Court.

She studied Business Law and Economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. During her studies, she gained practical experience as a student assistant to Univ.-Prof. Dr. Martin Spitzer and Univ.-Prof. Dr. Georg E. Kodek, LL.M., as well as through internships and student positions at several renowned law firms in Vienna.
