Marcell Clark, a seasoned Banking & Finance lawyer with over 25 years' experience, is a partner at CMS Vienna, who specialises in advising on complex cross-border financing and real estate transactions. He has represented clients in some of their most significant deals in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe, and around the world.
His areas of expertise include major secured and unsecured transactions, restructurings, construction and subordinated debt, and real estate investments. He also advises on agricultural and timber funds in connection with acquisitions and disposals, offering a comprehensive perspective on investment strategies.
Marcell previously served as a partner at Dentons and as an associate at Jones Day in New York. He also held the position of Associate General Counsel at TIAA, one of America’s largest pension funds, where he supported the real estate investment and finance teams in their domestic and international activities. This in-house experience gives him unique insight into client needs and strategic solutions.
He is admitted to the New York Bar and authorised to practise before the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
