CMS Sofia advises DSK Bank on €160M+ BESS project financing
Legal counsel for three battery energy storage systems exceeding 885 MWh, supporting Bulgaria’s renewable energy infrastructure
The financing package for Project Brusartsi [BESS of 375,65 MWh, and approx. EUR 68 million in development and VAT financing], Project Byala Slatina [BESS of 120,74 MWh, and approx. EUR 23 million in development and VAT financing], and Project Zlatitsa [BESS of 389,10 MWh, and approx. EUR 69 million in development and VAT financing] represents another step in advancing the energy infrastructure in the country.
We advised on the full scope legal due diligence reports, structuring and negotiation of the financing documentation, signing and financial close, drafting and review of project agreements
