CMS Sofia assists with EUR 11m refinancing of Nove Eco and MG Solar Photovoltaic Projects in Bulgaria

CMS Sofia has successfully assisted its long-term client Solar World Aquiris S.a.r.l. (Luxembourg) on the successful refinancing of its two operational photovoltaic projects in Bulgaria (“Nove Eco” and “MG Solar” with 10 MW installed capacity).

The work included negotiations and signing of the loan and security agreements with United Bulgarian Bank (part of KBC Group), and perfection. Both projects were acquired by Solar World Aquiris S.a.r.l. (Luxembourg) from Renesola back in 2013 and operate under Contracts-for-premium scheme valid until 2032.

The CMS Sofia team included Kostadin Sirleshtov, Borislava Piperkova, Viktoriya Dimitrova, Stoyana Petrova, Niya Ivanova and Rosen Kostadinov (Energy, Projects and Construction).
