Berlin – Following intensive negotiations between the Federal State of Brandenburg and Tesla, the purchase agreement for the around 300-hectare site in Grünheide, near Berlin, was notarised on 27 January 2020.
Berlin-based Real Estate partners Dr Andreas Otto and Dr Matthias Kuß provided the Federal State with comprehensive legal support during the intensive negotiations. Brandenburg has previously been advised by CMS in various other matters. A total of three ministries were involved on the Brandenburg side. Tesla acted through its European headquarters in Amsterdam.
