Düsseldorf – Schramm Holding GmbH, a subsidiary of Akzo Nobel Nederland N.V., one of the world’s leading manufacturers of paints and coatings, has sold the site of the Schramm Coatings GmbH factory in Offenbach to US-based international data centre operator CloudHQ. At the same time, Schramm is leasing the location back on a temporary basis until the final closure of business operations, which is scheduled for summer 2024. CloudHQ intends to develop a data centre on the five-hectare site. Further details of the deal were not disclosed.
