CMS advises Bechtle on the acquisition of an IT system integrator in Portugal

Stuttgart – Bechtle International Operations Holding AG, a subsidiary of the listed company Bechtle AG, has acquired all shares in the Portuguese company RIS 2048, Sistemas Informáticos e Comunicações, S.A. with the brands RIS and Evoware. RIS and Evoware currently have 165 employees. With this acquisition, Bechtle continues to pursue its European acquisition strategy, driving forward the expansion of its portfolio in Portugal and the utilisation of synergies with the Bechtle companies in Portugal and Spain. The terms of the transaction and the purchase price were not disclosed.

In Germany, under the lead of partner Dr Tobias Schneider, and in Portugal, under the lead of partner Francisco Xavier de Almeida, CMS advised long-standing client Bechtle AG on a further acquisition on the Iberian Peninsula.
