    Hamburg – Connected Infrastructure Capital GmbH (CIC), based in Hamburg, is a dynamic renewable energy company focussing on wind energy projects in Central Europe. CIC has brought in global asset manager Aviva Investors which will hold a 51 per cent stake. The EUR 40 million investment from Aviva Investors will provide the necessary funds to accelerate CIC's growth trajectory, expand the project pipeline and support ongoing development activities.

    A CMS team led by Dr Holger Kraft advised CIC and its shareholder comprehensively on the transaction.

    CIC is a Hamburg-based renewable energy company specialising in initiating, acquiring, developing and operating wind energy projects. With a focus on Poland and Sweden, CIC has built up an extensive portfolio of approx. 500 MW in operation and development and a pipeline of projects totalling approx. 1 GW.
