Holger Kraft specialises in advising on national and international energy and infrastructure transactions and project finance. This includes structuring and managing the transactions as well as considering the regulatory requirements. In recent years, he has been the lead adviser on a number of large transactions and acted on the seller's as well as the buyer's side, not only on projects in the renewables sector but also on projects for combined power plants (gas and steam/heat and power). Projects include large offshore and onshore wind farms such as Borssele III/IV, Merkur, Deutsche Bucht, Veja Mate, Hohe See and Global Tech I or the acquisition of a portfolio of five solar farms in the UK. Further, he regularly advises on commercial and regulatory arrangements on power projects, including Power Purchase Agreements in Europe and Germany. Within the infrastructure sector, he has special expertise in the field of railway financing.

Holger joined CMS in 1996 and became a partner in 2001.
