CMS advises Holtzbrinck Publishing Group on successful IPO of Springer Nature
Stuttgart, 11.10.2024 – Commercial law firm CMS has advised the Holtzbrinck Publishing Group (HPG) on legal aspects of Springer Nature’s IPO. Together with BC Partners, HPG holds a majority stake in Springer Nature, which is a global publisher in the research, health and education fields. Springer Nature has been listed on the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 4 October 2024.
A CMS team headed by lead partners Dr Tobias Grau and Philipp Melzer provided the Holtzbrinck Publishing Group with comprehensive legal advice. CMS advises HPG on a regular basis, including on the creation of its joint venture with BC Partners in 2014.
