CMS advises performance management start-up Valuedesk on Series A financing round
Berlin, 02.12.2024 – Performance management start-up Valuedesk has raised € five million in a financing round with legal advice from CMS. The renewed participation of UVC Partners and the initial investments of NRW.Ventures and EnjoyVenture support Valuedesk in its strategy of significantly expanding its team and further developing its market position. The funds will be used in particular to double the workforce over the next twelve months and to expand the company's technological capabilities.
Valuedesk, founded in 2017 in Bielefeld, offers a SaaS platform that supports companies in identifying and implementing measures to increase EBIT, save costs and reduce CO₂. The solution enables all company departments, such as purchasing, production and sales, to work together in a central platform to seamlessly coordinate strategic measures and create competitive advantages. One focus of the investment is on the further development of the technology, in particular the new “Spark” project, which is designed to generate data-driven and individualized proposals for measures to help companies achieve their goals in a targeted manner.
A CMS team led by Dr. Martin Eichholz and Dr. Friedrich von Spee provided comprehensive legal advice to Valuedesk in this financing round. CMS regularly advises innovative companies and investors on strategic growth projects and promotes the further development of digital business models.
