Frankfurt/Main – As part of a succession plan, the shares in Allgemeine Gleis- und Tiefbau Bauunternehmung GmbH (AGT) have been sold to EUROVIA GmbH of Germany, a member of the France-based VINCI Group.
A CMS team headed by lead partner Dr Joachim Dietrich advised the shareholders of AGT on all legal aspects of the transaction.
Mainz-based AGT GmbH has been involved in track construction for over 35 years. Its predominantly regional customer base includes municipal public transport companies from the local area, but also well-known industrial firms.
EUROVIA is one of Germany’s leading road construction companies. As a subsidiary of VINCI, a world market leader in construction and concessions, EUROVIA Germany generated sales of around EUR 922 million in 2019 with some 3,700 employees.
