CMS Hasche Sigle advises EnBW on acquisition of three onshore wind farms

EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG has acquired three onshore wind farms in Lower Saxony and Brandenburg comprising 26 wind power plants with a total output of 52 MW.

A team from CMS Hasche Sigle, led by partner Dr Jochen Lamb, advised EnBW on all aspects of the transaction.

The vendor of the wind farms is Plambeck Neue Energien AG (Cuxhaven), which has many years' experience in developing onshore and offshore wind farms. The two companies plan to cooperate going forward, with technical and commercial operation of the plants being handled by Plambeck Neue Energien AG in the years to come. The multimillion deal is currently awaiting approval from Germany’s Federal Cartel Office.
